  • Academic background:Graduated from the Tama Art University Faculty of Art and Design Department of Information Design. Completed the master's program of the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts Department of Inter-Media Art

Ms. Mohri creates installations that detect invisible and intangible energies such as magnetic force, gravity, light and others.

In 2015, she visited the U.S. as an Asian Cultural Council grantee. She has participated in a number of exhibitions both domestic and abroad, including her solo exhibition titled “Voluta” at the Camden Arts Centre in the U.K., 14th Biennale de Lyon in France, Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016 in India and Yokohama Triennale 2014 in Kanagawa, Japan. Her awards include the Nissan Art Award’s Grand Prix in 2015, the Culture and Future Prize of the 65th Kanagawa Culture Award in 2016 and the 67th Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize for New Artists in2017. Currently, she is Lecturer at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts Global Art Practice.
